After nearly 20 years in Zurich, David Zinman will retire after the 2013/24 season and leave the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich at the end of July ’14. As music director, he raised the standard of the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra to an international level. He has introduced new types of concerts, and made the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich one of the most enviable organizations to be part of.
